Ways You Can Connect and Serve

The Fellowship of 1000

A community of 1000+ committed to donating $200 annually to support Project AGAPE’s budget.

All funds received support maintenance for the Project AGAPE center in Armenia; staff salaries; office and transportation expenses; and building supplies. You can make a one-time donation via our ‘Donate’ page, or you can join the ‘Fellowship of 1000’ for 1-100 years!

Use the document below to mail-in your Fellowship of 1000 contribution!

Humanitarian AidHumanitarian Aid

We send adult and children’s clothing; infant items; coats; shoes; bedding; school, hygiene, and household supplies; kitchenware; and sewing supplies to our brothers and sisters in Armenia. All items must be NEW.

Visit http://www.wnccumc.org/project-agape for packing instructions, drop-off locations, and hours of operation.

Vocational Training in Armenia

Vocational Project funds help families displaced from war become self-sufficient through training in the high-demand vocations of cosmetology, manicure, and hairdressing. We aspire to expand this training program to encompass additional vocational opportunities.

Building Teams

These teams rebuild houses and help families displaced from the war find hope in their places of resettlement.

Interesting in joining or leading a mission building team? Contact our Board Chair, Allan VanMeter!

Christmas Shoe Boxes

Project AGAPE sends Christmas Shoe Boxes to Armenia. These shoe boxes are distributed to children who will not otherwise receive a Christmas present. Between 2020-2023, we sent over 12,000 shoe boxes!

Christmas Shoe Box Drop-Off Locations:

All Christmas boxes must be packed in larger cardboard boxes so that they can be transported in the truck. Please do not leave individual Christmas boxes at the drop-off sites.
