Project AGAPE is a religious humanitarian organization, arising from a partnership with the Western North Carolina and North Carolina Conferences of the UMC in 1993, which has been invited by the Armenian Apostolic Church and registered by the State Council oRA Committee on Religious Affairs.
The Project cooperates well with the Armenian Apostolic Church and received the first state registration in 1994.
In 2020, Project AGAPE, Inc. began to do additional outreach work to support its missions and ministries. This work was successful in connecting Project AGAPE, Inc. with other organizations in the community. This mission work became a larger part of both the North Carolina Conference of the UMC and the Western North Carolina Conference of the UMC's work within the church.
From the day of its foundation until now, AGAPE has adopted and committed to the following goals:

During our 30+ years of activities, AGAPE has led different projects, served people in Kashatagh and in border villages, now serve the displaced people who had to leave due to the war in 2020.
Project AGAPE, Inc. Articles of Incorporation were executed on May 4, 1997, and were filed with the NC Secretary of State on June 5, 1997. SOSID# 0428955.
The Project AGAPE, Inc. Board of Directors pursued independent tax-exempt status after the missional and ministerial growth in 2020. This status was granted effective March 30, 2021. EIN: 37-1978687
As a Section 501c(3) public charity, Project AGAPE, Inc. is required to file IRS Form 990. Project AGAPE Inc. filed its initial Form 990 for tax year 2022.
